HESO is hosting CHES study sessions! The meetings are bi-weekly at 12:30pm on Friday's and lasts approximately 1 hour.
During this time, we will discuss and review questions and answers as a group. wHAT IS THE CHES EXAM?The Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®) examination is a competency-based tool used to measure possession, application and interpretation of knowledge in the Seven Areas of Responsibility for Health Education Specialists delineated by the most current U.S.-based practice analysis study. The exam reflects the entry-level Sub-competencies of these Areas of Responsibility.

To Study, we are using the CHES Exam Review (1st Edition) by Dr. Elizabeth M. Felter and Dr. Jason Flatt. This book is available for free through the CSUN library.
wHAT DOES IT CONSIST OF?The CHES® Exam covers all the core Competencies of the Health Education and Promotion field, which are contained within Seven Areas of Responsibility.
